Legends and Lore
With a History or Science check, characters can learn the following:
DC 10 Drones are simple robots which follow their orders to the letter. They come in many varieties.
DC 15 While most drones are pure automatons, some rare drones are fully intelligent.
DC 20 Rumors exist of deadly, intelligent exterminator drones whose sole goal is to extinguish all life in the universe.
Small, robotic, flying automatons, drones perform a wide variety of tasks. While some are built for combat or security purposes, others can perform reconnaissance, hack computer systems, or even administer medical aid. Drones are cheap to make, built en masse, and are generally considered disposable–most are able to follow verbal commands and communicate in a basic fashion, but they are not regarded as being sapient.

4 A drone is malfunctioning and affected by the confused condition (see Malfunction trait)
1 The flashing lights of floating objects in the night sky
2 The electronic hum of a drone as it flies
3 Scorch marks in the ground from something which clearly attacked from above
4 Debris of a destroyed drone
Drones can be found everywhere, from battlezones to noble banquets.
